Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Welcome to YAKO. To ensure we provide the best experience for all our guests, we kindly ask that you review our booking and cancellation policies below.

1. General Bookings (1–7 Guests)

  • Deposit: No deposit is required for parties of 7 or fewer.

  • Cancellations: We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or significant amendments to your reservation.

  • Late Arrivals: We will hold your table for 15 minutes past your booking time. If you are running late, please call us. After 15 minutes, the table may be released to our waiting list.

 

2. Large Group Bookings (8+ Guests)

  • Deposit: A deposit of £10 per person is required to secure reservations for 8 or more guests.

  • Payment: This deposit must be paid at the time of booking and will be fully deducted from your final bill on the day of your visit.

  • Confirmation: Your booking is not considered "confirmed" until the deposit has been received.

3. Large Group Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. To receive a full refund of your deposit, the following notice periods apply:

  • 48+ Hours' Notice: Full refund of the deposit.

  • Less than 48 Hours' Notice: The deposit may be retained at the restaurant’s discretion to cover staffing and food preparation costs.

  • No-Shows: In the event of a "no-show" (where the party fails to arrive without prior notice), the deposit will be retained in full.

 

4. Reducing Guest Numbers

If your party size decreases significantly (e.g., a booking for 12 arrives as a party of 6) without 24 hours' notice, the restaurant reserves the right to retain the deposit for the missing guests.

 

5. Acceptance of Terms

By completing your booking and/or paying a deposit, you indicate your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
